R. Brognard Okie is a name that carries particular weight in Pennsylvania preservation circles. An architect whose Colonial Revival work defined much of the region's most admired residential landscape, Okie's buildings demand a restorer who understands both the architecture and the era. This Devon property, designed by Okie and later restored by Cullen Construction after a fire, received exactly that. Working with Peter Zimmerman Architects, the team undertook a restoration that was faithful not just to the original floor plan, but to Okie's broader intention—a home that feels of its place and of its time, regardless of when you encounter it.
