After severe storm damage sent a tree through the home, essentially splitting it in two, Cullen Construction brought this Walter Durham farmhouse back to life, honoring his original 1950s design with handcrafted precision. A Walter Durham restoration is a statement of intent, and this Berwyn project, brought to Cullen Construction by Peter Zimmerman Architects, carried that weight from the outset. The standard was set high, and the expectation was that it would be exceeded. The reimagined bays now stand as both a tribute to the past and a testament to modern building excellence: meticulous attention to detail, respect for legacy architecture, and uncompromising quality.
